PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT

Ø             Give maximum effort and continue to strive for their best performance throughout each game

Ø             Support and encourage their fellow team members at all times

Ø             Set a positive example to others 

Ø             Make every effort to develop their own sporting abilities and fitness

Ø             Avoid all forms of poor sportsmanship

Ø             Obey the instructions of their coach and the referee (provided that they do not contradict the spirit of this Code of Conduct)

Ø             Always respect the decisions of the referee and linesmen without protest

Ø             Show due respect to the coaches and supporters of their opponents’ team

Ø             Never use inappropriate language

Ø             Adhere to the Laws of the Game and any specific competition rules

Ø             Be good ambassadors of Horsham Tigers Football Club at all times

Ø             Never take banned substances or use banned techniques

Ø             Accept victory or defeat professionally and in good spirit

Ø             Treat opponents with due respect, whatever the result of the game

 Ø             Safeguard the physical well-being of their opponents, and avoid violent play

 Physical, racial, sexual, emotional or verbal abuse will not be tolerated by Horsham Tigers Football Club, and offenders will be reported, sanctioned and if appropriate banned.
